Effective August 29, 2026. Covers the AIMD app for iPhone, the AIMD web app, the Suno to Spotify browser extension, and related import flows.
Overview
AIMD - AI Music Distro ("AIMD", "we", "us") operates the marketing site at aimusicdistro.com, the distribution app at app.aimusicdistro.com, the AIMD app for iPhone, and the Suno to Spotify browser extension (powered by AIMD).
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, where it goes, and the choices you have. It applies to the iPhone app, the extension, the AIMD web app, and related import and authentication flows.
AIMD does not generate music. You bring a finished track — made with an AI tool or recorded yourself — and AIMD delivers it to stores.
What the extension collects
When you open the extension on a Suno song page you choose to import, the extension reads publicly visible content from that page: song title, artist name, cover art URL, lyrics, and the audio file URL.
The extension stores a random session identifier locally in your browser so it can stay connected to your AIMD account between popup opens.
If you sign in through ONCE or sync from an open AIMD tab, the extension uses that existing AIMD session state. It does not collect your ONCE password inside the extension popup.
What the iPhone app collects
Release drafts you create — title, artist name, genre, release date, explicit flag, rights and songwriter details, AI disclosure, lyrics — plus the audio and cover-art files you import.
Those drafts and files are stored on your device, in a container shared between the app and its Share Extension. They stay on the device until you delete a draft, delete your account, or delete the app. Your audio and cover art are uploaded only when you submit a release for distribution, or when you ask the app for an AI suggestion that needs them.
A random per-install session identifier, kept in the iOS Keychain, so the app can stay connected to your AIMD account between launches.
When you sign up or sign in, the email address and (optionally) the name you enter. Passwords are passed straight to ONCE for authentication and are never stored by the app.
When you use AI autofill, chat, or AI cover art, the draft details and the text you type are sent to our servers and on to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the suggestion. They are not used to train models.
When you paste a Suno link, the app reads the public preview tags of that song page (title and cover art) directly from your device.
What the iPhone app does not collect
No third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.
No access to your photo library, microphone, contacts, or location. Cover art is chosen through the system photo picker, which hands the app only the image you pick.
The app ships with local notifications only — no remote push, and no device token is collected.
What the extension does not collect
The extension does not run on websites other than suno.com and AIMD domains.
It does not read your browsing history, passwords on unrelated sites, email content, financial information, or activity in background tabs.
It does not include third-party advertising, analytics trackers, or fingerprinting scripts.
How we use extension data
Song metadata and audio are sent to app.aimusicdistro.com only when you click Distribute (or an equivalent import action) to create a release draft in your AIMD account.
Session identifiers are used to check whether you are signed in and to attach imported releases to the correct AIMD account.
We use this data to provide the import and distribution service you request. We do not sell extension data.
Where data is sent
Imported song data is transmitted to https://app.aimusicdistro.com over HTTPS.
Authentication may route through ONCE (once.app) when you choose Sign in with ONCE.
Distribution delivery after you submit a release is handled by AIMD's distribution infrastructure and the digital service providers you select in the app.
Retention
Release drafts, uploaded audio, artwork, and distribution metadata are retained in your AIMD account until you delete them or close your account.
Drafts and media created in the iPhone app stay on the device until you delete the draft, delete your account, or delete the app.
Local extension storage (session id and app URL preference) remains in your browser until you clear extension data or uninstall the extension.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the iPhone app: open Account from the home screen, then Delete account.
Deleting signs you out on every device, removes your cached profile and credit balance from our systems, and erases every draft, audio file and cover art on that iPhone. It cannot be undone.
Closing the underlying account and removing what remains on our side is completed within 30 days. Write to privacy@aimusicdistro.com if you want confirmation, or to delete an account you created on the web.
Releases already delivered to stores are not withdrawn by account deletion — a takedown is a separate request to support@aimusicdistro.com.
Permissions explained
activeTab and scripting: read the Suno song page you are viewing when you click the extension.
storage: remember your AIMD session id between popup opens.
tabs: optionally find an already-open signed-in AIMD tab so you can sync your session.
Host access to suno.com: extract the song you chose to import.
Host access to app.aimusicdistro.com and aimusicdistro.com: authenticate, import songs, and complete sign-in redirects.
Your choices
You control when an import happens by clicking Distribute in the extension popup, or by submitting a release in the app. Your files leave the iPhone only when you submit a release or ask for an AI suggestion.
You can uninstall the extension at any time and clear its storage from your browser's extension settings.
You can manage or delete individual releases inside the AIMD app, and delete your whole account from the iPhone app's Account screen.
You can decline notification permission when the app asks, and change it later in iOS Settings; nothing else in the app depends on it.
Children
AIMD is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the extension or app changes. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page when we do.
