Terms of
service.

Effective August 29, 2026. Covers the AIMD app for iPhone, the AIMD web app, the browser extension, and distribution through ONCE.

◉ Terms

The short version

You bring a finished song. We deliver it to Spotify, Apple Music, and the other stores you select, and you keep 100% of the royalties those stores pay.

You pay once per release — no subscription, no cut of your earnings.

You promise the music is yours to release. That promise is the whole basis of this agreement, and it is the one thing we cannot verify for you.

The sections below are the binding version. Where they and this summary disagree, the sections win.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and AIMD - AI Music Distro ("AIMD", "we", "us"). They cover the AIMD app for iPhone, the web app at https://app.aimusicdistro.com, the marketing site, and the Suno to Spotify browser extension.

Distribution, rights administration, and royalty accounting run on ONCE, our distribution infrastructure partner. Creating an AIMD account creates an account on ONCE. Your use of the service is also subject to ONCE's terms, and to the requirements of each store your release is delivered to.

You must be at least 13 years old to use AIMD, and old enough in your country to enter a binding contract. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

What AIMD does

AIMD prepares and delivers your finished recording to digital stores and streaming services. That includes generating an ISRC and UPC where you do not supply one, formatting your metadata to each store's requirements, and transmitting the release.

AIMD does not generate music. You supply the audio — made with an AI tool, recorded yourself, or both.

AIMD is non-exclusive. You are free to distribute the same recording elsewhere at the same time, and free to leave.

What AIMD does not do

We do not promise that any particular store will accept, keep, or continue to carry your release. Stores set their own rules and apply them on their own timetable. A store can reject or remove a release for reasons we do not control and are not always told.

We do not promise a delivery date. Most releases reach stores within a few days; some take longer.

We do not collect publishing or mechanical royalties, administer your compositions, register you with a PRO, or promote your music.

What you pay

Distribution costs $2 per release created with AI tools, and $1 per release you recorded yourself, charged once at the point you submit. There is no subscription and no renewal.

Credits are purchased in advance and spent when you submit a release. Credits have no cash value, do not expire on a fixed schedule, and are not transferable between accounts.

Prices are in US dollars and may change for future purchases. A change never affects credits you have already bought.

AIMD takes no share of your streaming royalties. Stores pay royalties to ONCE, which accounts them to you.

Refunds

Unspent credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase. Write to support@aimusicdistro.com and we will return them to the original payment method.

A credit spent on a release that has already been transmitted to stores is not refundable — the work and the store fees are done at that point.

If a release fails to deliver because of a fault on our side, we refund the credit or re-deliver at no charge, whichever you prefer.

Your music, your rights

You keep every right you had in your recording and your composition. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to AIMD.

You grant AIMD and ONCE a non-exclusive licence to reproduce, transmit, and distribute the recording, artwork, and metadata you submit, for the purpose of delivering it to the stores you select and administering it there. That licence lasts as long as the release is distributed and ends when it is taken down.

You confirm, for every release you submit, that: you own or control all rights in the recording, composition, artwork, and any samples it contains; every performer and songwriter is credited as required; and delivering it will not infringe anyone else's rights.

That confirmation is the part of this agreement we most need you to take seriously. Uploading someone else's song — including an AI generation trained to imitate a specific artist and presented as theirs — puts your account, your other releases, and the accounts of everyone distributing through the same pipeline at risk.

AI-made music

AI-generated and AI-assisted music is welcome here. It is most of what moves through AIMD.

You must disclose it. The app asks which tool made the recording, and the answer travels with the release. Stores increasingly require this, and some of them check.

You are responsible for your rights in AI output under the terms of the tool that produced it. Some generators grant commercial rights only on paid plans; some restrict them entirely. AIMD does not and cannot verify your licence with a third-party generator.

Do not submit AI output that imitates a real artist's voice or likeness without their permission. Stores treat it as impersonation and so do we.

Content we will not distribute

Recordings you do not have the rights to, including unlicensed samples, karaoke or soundalike versions passed off as originals, and material lifted from another artist.

Releases with metadata designed to mislead — misspelled or borrowed artist names, titles that impersonate another release, or genre and credit fields stuffed to game store search.

Silence, noise, or filler uploaded to farm royalties, and anything intended to manipulate streaming counts.

Material that is unlawful where it would be distributed, or that a store's own content policy prohibits.

We may refuse or withdraw a release we believe falls into any of these, and we will tell you why.

Takedowns

You can request a takedown at any time by writing to support@aimusicdistro.com. We pass it to the stores, which usually remove the release within a few days. Deleting your AIMD account does not itself take a delivered release down.

We will remove a release when a rights holder makes a valid claim against it, when a store requires it, or when it breaches these terms.

Royalties already earned before a takedown are still accounted to you.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

One account per person. Do not create additional accounts to work around a suspension or a refused release.

You can delete your account from inside the iPhone app (Account → Delete account), or by writing to privacy@aimusicdistro.com. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is not fraud or repeated infringement, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right first.

Availability and changes

AIMD is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change.

We may change these terms. For a material change we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use AIMD after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can stop and request a refund of unspent credits.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, AIMD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost royalties, lost profits, or lost opportunity arising from a store's decision about your release.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid AIMD in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above — in those places they apply only as far as the law permits.

You agree to cover us against claims brought by a third party because a release you submitted infringed their rights.

Disputes

Talk to us first — support@aimusicdistro.com. Almost everything is resolvable that way.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Delaware have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
